Connor had to grow up a lot in a short amount of time. Finding out you're going to be a dad really speeds things up. He's still the sexy and charming guy he always was, but now he's just a little more reserved than we're used to seeing. He's sweet, funny, and a little bit awkward since he's been out of the game for a while. But just like riding a bicycle, Connor hasn't forgotten his skills. He still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve.


Jessa is a whirlwind that Connor never expected to come into his life, and one he never realized he needed. She can be adventurous and outgoing at times, but timid and a little bit shy at others. It's a great contradiction that gives her this instant likability. She's an all-around great person.


These two are amazing together. Connor and Jess compliment each other well, and have a sizzling chemistry about them. You can feel how hard they have to work to resist the pull towards one another. This book is a slow-burn romance with plenty of feels and you're going to love it, just like the other books in this series of stand-alone romances.
