If you haven’t indulged in Lauren Blakely After Dark, you don’t realize what you’re missing!
Who doesn’t love a bodyguard/client romance? Callum drew me in from the beginning. I’m a sucker for the strong, silent, brooding type, and that describes him perfectly. He’s so serious because his job requires that of him, but he gives you glimpses of his playful side throughout the story, as well as his sinfully delicious naughty side. The man is full of surprises.
Ivy is my new girl crush. She’s such a strong female lead in this story. She’s smart, successful, and commanding, but there’s a side to her that loves giving up that control she has to hold. She’s confident and unafraid to speak her mind and ask for the things she wants. And boy does she want some...interesting things.
This novella really hits the spot - all the classic greatness of a LB novel with an extra splash of heat for those of us who really enjoy it. I love this steamier collection of stories from this author.
