With a title like this, one could expect a suave, well put-together gent who's calm, cool, and collected. Wes might be struggling with that though. He’s off his game when it comes to June, and he’s anything but calm, cool, and collected. This man is a walking contradiction. How he acts is completely different than the way his advice dictates. He doesn’t mean it to be that way, but like I said, he’s struggling. Big time. And you’ll fall in love with him through the whole thing! He’s charming, sweet, goofy, awkward, and completely lovable. Wes is definitely a new favorite.
June is amazing! This woman is a tornado swirling into Wes’s life. She’s quirky and fun, chaotic and a bit old fashioned. She’s headstrong and makes Wes work for her affections. I love her personality and her sense of self-awareness. She's such an amazing person, both inside and out. It's easy to see why Wes is so discombobulated around her.
This book is hilarious. And not just ha-ha funny, but snort-laugh funny. MQ will keep you laughing throughout the entire book while giving you plenty of feels, some scorching heat, and plenty of that tortuous slow-burn she's so good at. This one is a definite slam-dunk winner.
