This book was SO not what I was expecting, but I absolutely LOVED it!
Surly, broody Luca Weaver is my new favorite Max Monroe hero. This guy does everything in his power to make you despise him, but none of it works. He’s all bark and no bite. He may be grumpy, angry, and aloof most of the time, but underneath that sexy and gruff exterior beats the heart of a good man. He can be funny, charming, and downright swoon-inducing.
Billie is my new girl crush. This woman is a unique, one-of-a-kind country girl full of stubbornness and sass. She will not back down from a challenge and she won’t be brushed aside.
