When I found out we were getting an entire trilogy surrounding Reed Rivers, I instantly had both high hopes for this amazing man and high expectations for his story. Lauren Rowe did not let me down!
Every time we've seen Reed, he's this suave, put-together businessman that lets nothing rattle him. And while the first two descriptions are completely accurate, the last is a bit more complicated. Turns out he's human just like the rest of us. And there's definitely more to Reed than meets the eye. Of course, he's devilishly sexy and irritatingly charming, which we already knew. But underneath all that alpha hotness he's actually really funny and quite quirky. I need more of him.
Georgina is my new favorite heroine. She's strong, unfiltered, and unafraid. She's tough, through and through. Watch out for this one. She has no problems doing what she needs in order to get what she wants. Her stubborn streak often causes her trouble and she challenges Reed in ways he's never imagined. She's a force to be reckoned with.
This is only the first of the three-part story and I'm already hooked. Reed and Georgie are explosive together. They're in a constant battle of wills and watching them negotiate, manipulate, and bargain their way through everything is highly entertaining. Warning: this couple is highly addictive and once you start reading, you won’t want to stop. It’s going to be torture to, but I can’t wait to read more of their story!
