Just from out brief encounter with Shep and Bridget from The Bangover, I knew they were going to have an interesting story to tell. And this one started off with a bang (no pun intended).
Sexy rocker Shep is instantly lovable. He's down-to-earth, humble, and doesn't possess that rock star massive ego you would expect. He's a genuine guy with a loving heart and tons of loyalty when it comes to his friends. They're nothing he wouldn't do for them. He's funny and charming, and somehow both sexy and a little awkward. He's a unique combination you're going to love.
Bridget is a bit of a mess (not unlike her sister Kirby from The Bangover) but I love her personality. She's definitely awkward, but she's also fun, friendly, and loyal. And I love her logic. She might obtain it in an interesting way, but it certainly has merit.
These two together are a perfect combination and they balance each other wonderfully. Throw in a mystery and a bit of suspense and you have a story that will hold your attention while making you laugh and swoon all at the same time. Hopefully there's more to come in this series. I know there's at least one more story I can't way to read.
This is a fun, well-rounded, five star rom-com.
