This time, we finally get Lock's story. I've been intrigued by him since the series started. And he didn't disappoint. This former military man turned cop is actually one of the sweetest guys in the series. He's funny, loyal, loving, protective, and is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He's charming, alpha, and a little bit dirty. It's a great combination.
Saylor is such a real character. She struggles - things don't always work out the way she wants them to - but she's resilient, determined, and a little on the stubborn side. She’s funny, feisty, and definitely a strong female lead.
Lock and Saylor have chemistry from their very first meeting. They're a couple who are fun and flirty, sweet and heartfelt, and sometimes downright filthy. They'll definitely keep you entertained. Also,I really enjoy the aspects of mystery that each of these stories in the series has. It gives the reader a little something extra.
All in all, I think you'll enjoy this story.
