Sloane Howell lives in the Midwest United States and writes all kinds of stories.

A former college baseball player turned author, when not reading or writing, he enjoys hanging out with his family, watching sports, traveling, and engaging his readers on social media. Book + Main:

If you're looking for an alpha male hero, a strong female heroine, and some filthy heat, you've come to the right place.

Decker is the aforementioned Cocky Playboy. Honestly, sometimes you'll have a really hard time liking the guy. But be patient with him. He has plenty of redeeming qualities and there's a whole other side to him that others rarely see. He's two sides of the same coin - sweet, loving, and protective on one side; sexy, dominant, and filthy-talking on the other.

Tate is a strong female lead. She's accomplished, bold, and at the top of her game. She knows what she wants and makes no apologies. Is she without flaws? Absolutely not. There were several times where I didn't like her much, just like with Decker. But there were no deal-breakers with her either.

Decker and Tate have no shortage of chemistry in this story. Even when they bicker and banter with one another, you can feel it. If you're looking for a story that's light on the drama and heavy on the heat, I can definitely recommend this one.
