What an unbelievable conclusion!
Of all the ways I could have pictured the conclusion of this story, this was definitely not it. Every time I thought I had things figured out, some new twist would reveal (see what I did there?) itself and throw me for a loop.
Ryker is….gah, he’s amazing. And I know you might disagree after that insane cliffhanger from book one, but be patient with him. With so many redeeming qualities, you won’t be able to resist him by the end of their epic tale.
Vaughn is one tough lady. If you think she’s been through enough already, you’re in for a wild ride. But her fierce determination and bold/sometimes stubborn personality make her a force to be reckoned with. She’s not going down without a fight. I love watching such a strong female lead character.
This book (and this duet) has a little bit of everything. It’s classic K. Bromberg, with tons of feels and plenty of heat. Add in all the suspense and Ryker and Vaughn are sure to be your new favorite couple. This is a must-read romantic suspense!
