And here I thought I couldn’t love anyone more than the Bianco brothers. As it turns out, “irresistibly sexy” runs in the family...and it’s a straight shot to the Mancini brothers.
Enzo is the aforementioned Sexy Filthy Boss, and I must say he certainly lives up to his name. I loved the little glimpse we got of him in Luca’s story (Engaged to the EMT - seriously, you need the Biancos in your life), so I was super excited we were getting him first. Fair warning: you may not like him in the beginning. He's bossy, demanding, and totally alpha. But underneath all that bravado is a sweet Italian mama's boy that you can't help but fall for.
Annie is fantastic. She's intelligent, funny, and great at her job. And despite all that, even she can't resist the Mancini charm. Still, she's bold, opinionated, and never one to let Enzo get away with anything. She definitely keeps him on his toes. She has her own fair share of issues though, so she’s certainly not perfect.
I’d love to say opposites attract in this book, and they do, but Enzo and Annie have a lot of similarities too. It’s fun to watch these career-minded, ME-focused people see there’s more to what they want out of life than just a good job. This book is both sweet and sexy. It’s funny and pulls on the heartstrings. I love it when books check off all the boxes and this one definitely does. And you can’t forget about the other two Mancini boys. Get these three together and you don’t stand a chance at not falling for one of them. They’re a riot.
This is another fantastic start to what’s going to be a fun, sexy series!
