I’m fast becoming a fan of police officer romances so this series really caught my eye.
Logan is not your typical hero. Unlike most book boyfriends, he doesn’t have his act together but it’s not for lack of trying. His run of bad fortune has bled into every aspect of his life but he’s not letting it get to him. And despite his current situation, he’s still an amazing guy. He’s protective, sweet, funny, and a genuinely good person.
Katy is a perfect match in that her life is somewhat of a mess right now too. She’s been through far more than anyone should ever have to go through in life, but she still somehow keeps a positivity about her. She’s bold, funny, a little quirky, and a little broken, but she’s strong-willed and not afraid to speak her mind. Her heart is as amazing as Logan’s.
I really enjoyed this story. There’s always something to keep you intrigued and interested. The characters are fun and quirky, but also dealing with deeper issues. There are plenty of surprises to keep you on your toes and you’re going to fall in love with the whole group.
This was a great steamy, sexy start to a brand new series.
