I’m so in love with this story!
Deacon is the oldest Hunter brother and, with two college-aged sons, he’s already been around the block once. He’s set in his ways, stubborn, and a little bit bossy (by little, I mean a lot). But he also has the best heart, is unbelievably kind and considerate, and has only gotten sexier with age. He’s charming and cocky, but also humble and down-to-earth. It’s a crazy combination, but it works for him.
Violet is a handful. This is her second time around the block too, but she’s a little more skittish than Deacon about taking another shot at love. She’s quirky and fun, the coolest mom (even if her daughter doesn’t think so), and never hesitates to speak what’s on her mind. I love her fierce independent personality and her desire to make the world better, one strong female at a time.
From page one to ‘the end,’ this story has plenty of surprises. The characters are fantastic, the love will melt your heart, and the encounters will keep you hot and steamy. This book is so much fun, but it’s also packed with plenty of feels. I definitely recommend both this book and the series as a whole. It’s so easy to fall in love with all these Hunter men.
