Who doesn't love a playboy-turned-doting husband?
I fell for Fitz from the start. His laissez-faire attitude is irritatingly charming, but there's so much more to this man than meets the eye. Sure, he has witty and sexy down to a science, and that sexy British accent doesn't hurt either. But Fitz has a good heart and an irresistible kindness hiding under that mouthwatering exterior, so it's hard to do anything but fall.
Becca is fantastic. In a lot of ways, she's the strong woman she needs to be to get things done. She's selfless, always putting other people first, and her loyalty to what she considers her family is admirable. And just like most women, she still struggles with her own insecurities, making her a completely relatable character.
From their first true encounter to the last pages of the story, Fitz and Becca take you on an enjoyable whirlwind adventure. It's definitely not an easy one, but it's packed full of wit, charm, lots of feels, and tons of chemistry. I absolutely adored this book and this entire series.
