Alexei is definitely one of the good ones - a real knight in shining armor, even if he doesn't want to be. This sexy man may be a menace on the football field, but underneath all that muscle and brawn is a big teddy bear. Alexei is sweet and caring, but also knows how to turn up the heat.
From the moment you meet Ryleigh, you immediately love her. The struggles she goes through, the sacrifices she makes, are all for the greater good and she's probably the least selfish person you'll meet. She's independent and headstrong, and her desire to do things on her own doesn't make it easy on Alexei.
Chemistry crackles from the start with these two, and oftentimes you can cut the tension between them with a knife. This story packs in a lot of heat, a lot of heart, and plenty of feels. You're gonna love it!
