Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there. Now she lives in Kentucky and manages a team of graphic artists. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America, is married with two sons, writes dirty books, and couldn’t be any happier.

The tagline for this book is 'he will write a prescription for your pleasure.’ Pleasure, indeed. This book is full of it. It's dirty, sexy, shiver-inducing lust at its finest. Dr. Lowe...oh my God, is this man sinfully delicious! Aged to perfection, he's the epitome of the perfect older man fantasy - sexy as sin, successful, and alpha with just the right amount of tenderness blended in for good measure. He's irresistible. Cassidy is a bit overwhelmed and I don't blame her. Dr. Lowe can be a lot to handle for any one, especially a woman in an awkward situation no one saw coming. There are times when she shows her age, but her maturity is impressive and her enlightenment is fun to watch. This book isn't lacking in the heat department, that's for sure. But then, Nikki Sloane novels rarely are. She manages - yet again - to combine a beautiful love story with an abundance of naughtiness that will get your blood pumping. If you're looking for a clean romance, this is definitely NOT the book for you. A fantastically steamy five-star read!
