I was SO excited to read Becket’s story! This man… If you looked up the word gentleman in the dictionary, I swear Becket Jones should have his picture there. THIS CHARACTER IS AMAZING! Becket is sweet, funny, charming, caring, thoughtful, patient, wickedly sexy - in short, he is the complete package. And did I mention he plays football? YUM! But don’t let all of his sweetness fool you though. Becket knows when not to be a gentleman too. Oh boy... Ivy is a tough nut to crack. Professionally, she’s confident, strong, and successful. But in her personal life, she’s weary, jaded, and hard to get close to. She’s met her match when it comes to Becket. He’s willing to let Ivy take all the time she needs to figure out what she wants. I loved this story! It was fun, sweet, sexy, and charming plus it pulls you through all the feels - all qualities I’ve come to expect from an RC Boldt book. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
