This book has a little bit of everything you’re looking for. Including Austin James, the aforementioned rock star. He has his moments where he’s not particularly loveable in the beginning, yet by the end, you will swayed to Team Austin. He’s mysterious and sexy, but charming and sweet. He has this way of making you want to smack him one minute and kiss him hard the next.
Mia is perfect in this story. She’s such a great character. She’s determined, strong, and tough, not willing to let a situation get the best of her. But she’s also a bit of a mess at times, which I think makes her someone readers can relate to.
I really enjoyed this story. I’ve come to expect plenty of laughs, lots of swoon, and loads of steam from Katie McCoy books, and she didn’t disappoint with this one. This series is definitely a fun one to read.
