I'm kicking myself for having not read this author sooner! Combust is my second K. Bromberg novel and I absolutely fell in love with everything about this story. Grady Malone just shot to the top of my favorite book boyfriend list. He's simply everything. He's sweet, sexy (oh man, is he sexy), loyal, protective - a good-hearted man who's had a few bumps in his road. He's broken, he struggles, he doesn't always say the right things. In short, he's human, and we love him for ALL is qualities. Dylan is amazing, easily one of the best female leads I've read. She's so much stronger that she gives herself credit for at times. She struggles with her insecurities but still gives so much to Grady to help him deal with his. This story is beautifully written. It has everything you could possibly want and so much more. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll blush. You'll be left in awe of this fantastic story. Five-star, must-read, one-click worthy book.
