Dane, Avril, and Andrew embark on a journey full of personal exploration and debauchery...but not together. Yet, the Wicked Horse has a way of knocking down all their inhibitions and soon the lines between their separate paths begin to blur together.
I loved Dane, Avril, and Andrew. Their characters are all complex in their own way, but compliment each other perfectly. Dane is by far the most complex and intriguing to me. Intelligent, successful, and a little broken, Dane is more closed off than the others. He doesn't like to show his emotions. Avril is an open book. She speaks what's on her mind and has no problem setting the men in her life straight. Andrew has had his fair share of heartache, but still manages to both keep himself guarded as well as open up to show his softer side.
For me, this book had a bit of a different feel than the other Wicked Horse books that I can't quite put my finger on. Somewhere amidst all the naughty fun is a deeper love story that has ALL the feels, and made me fall in love with these characters even more.
Another five-star read for this series!
