Kim Karr is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author.
She grew up in Rochester, NY and now lives in Florida with her husband and four kids. She's always had a love for reading books and writing. Being an English major in college, she wanted to teach at the college level but that was not to be. She went on to receive an MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise her family. Kim currently works part-time with her husband and recently decided to embrace one of her biggest passions--writing.
Kim wears a lot of hats! Writer, book-lover, wife, soccer-mom, taxi driver, and the all around go-to person of her family. However, she always finds time to read. Add Kim Karr's name to it and I know it's going to be an instant favorite. And I wasn't disappointed.
Lucas Carrington...this man. Watching his character and personality evolve over this course of this book was a major highlight for me. Yes he's cocky and arrogant at times, but he's also sweet, humble, and caring.
And sexy. Don't forget sexy. Just, wow...
It's easy to see why Gillian can't resist him. She's very much a rule-follower, and he's got her breaking all her rules. But don't let that make you think she's a pushover. Not even close. She knows just how and when to keep Lucas in line, and that often leads to some very entertaining encounters.
This book gave me all the feels and had everything you could want in a good love story, along with plenty of heat and humor . This is definitely a one-click worthy, five-star read!
