Cold Fury Hockey is back and Sawyer Bennett has given us yet another swoon worthy hockey hunk to drool over - the oh-so-dreamy Max Fournier.
Fresh off an injury plagued season, Max puts all his focus on the ice to become the Cold Fury's starting goalie, his only act of rebellion being his stops after practice for junk food - chips, candies, and sodas. And of all the convenience stores he could have walked in to, he walked into hers. He's never met her, but this knockout cashier commands his attention.
Jules has had it tough. The last several months have been stressful to say the least. Max is her proverbial knight in shining armor, but Jules is fiercely prideful, stubborn, and independent. It's going to take a lot more than a hockey player with dimples to win her over.
And who says girls are only attracted to the bad boys? Max is something special. Sweet, charming, and a sexy streak that will blindside you are just a few of this man's amazing qualities. He can put a smile on your face and a blush in your cheeks. You can never resist him.
This book just feels good. The story is great and the characters are always amazing. And as expected, a few other members of our Cold Fury hockey family make some appearances, which is always fun.
I'd highly recommend picking up this book.
