I'm always a sucker for a good rocker book so when I found out that the amazing Sawyer Bennett was writing one, I knew I had to read it.
And, of course, I wasn't disappointed.
Evan needs a lawyer, and quick. His aunt runs one of the most unique law firms in the city, but instead of taking care of his problems herself, she sends one of her associate attorneys in her place.
Let's just say Evan's interest in Emma goes beyond her legal skills.
I fell in love with this book from the beginning. It's definitely an opposites attract story. Evan is a sexy rocker, thrust into a sudden life of fame and fortune when he went solo. He's down to earth, sweet, charming, and apprehensive. It seems that everyone wants a piece of the pie where he's concerned. Emma is a fairly new law graduate, hopelessly trying to find her place in a law firm that doesn't fit her image. She's self-conscience, an introvert, and confused as to why this gorgeous rocker can't seem to get enough of her company.
Put these two completely different people together and sparks fly. It's a perfect feel good love story with plenty of steamy moments, conflict, and one sexy, dirty talking rocker who loves nothing more than to shock the one he's with.
