Every minor league ball player has one goal in their career - to be called to the major leagues. For Rafe Hembrey, this could be his year. All he has to do is focus on his game, prove he can be consistent, and the call will come soon.

Alice is new in town. She's led a VERY sheltered life and this is her time to shine. She wants to experience all the things she's missed over the years. When she's handed a flyer to a minor league baseball game, she immediately buys a ticket and searches the web to learn all she can about the sport. Catching the eye of the sexy pitcher on the mound is just an added bonus.
I absolutely LOVED this book! I'm always a sucker for a good baseball story and this satisfied my cravings in every way. Rafe and Alice are perfect! Rafe is flawed, sexy, passionate, and a little bit broken and that makes him the PERFECT book boyfriend. Alice is one of a kind. She's awkward, quirky, nerdy, and sexy in her own way. Her journey is full of hilarity and she takes Rafe on the crazy ride with her.
This was a fantastic book and a perfect way to introduce myself to this new-to-me author. I'll definitely be following this series and this author more closely.
I highly recommend this book!
