This book was naughty, full of crude dialog and humor, and contained characters that were often times way over the top.

This book was so much fun to read!
Baseball was my first love, so naturally I'm drawn to a book revolving around sexy baseball players.
From the beginning, I absolutely adored Easton. My first baseball crush was on a relief pitcher so I can fully understand Kyrie's inability to steer clear of all his sexiness. Easton is definitely a sexy alpha with a dirty little mouth, but I love that we see hints of his vulnerability throughout the story. I think it makes him even more sexy.
At first glance, I wasn't sure I'd like Kyrie. I mean, seriously, who goes to a baseball game and READS?!? And with backstop seats too?!? I love to read, but even I couldn't do that. But getting to know her and hear her story as the book progresses, you realize that she's disconnected herself from the sport for a reason, and you definitely feel some empathy for her.
ALL the characters in this book were hilariously quirky and they all definitely seem to have a way with words, especially the two best friends and Easton's sister (this would be where the crude dialog and humor I referred to earlier comes into play). Let's face it. We all have at least one of those unfiltered friends that could fit this category. And if you don't, well, you don't know what you're missing...
Overall, this was a great, light-hearted, fun read that was thoroughly entertaining and I can't wait to jump into the follow-up.
