James is at the top of his game and he's also front and center of every tabloid for his off the field behaviors. In LA for an exhibition game, the hotel he's staying at throws a gathering for his club in their bar. That's where he meets local bartender Nicole. It's lust at first sight for these two, but a mutually agreed upon one-night stand leaves each of them desiring more.
I LOVED these characters. James is HOT. He's charismatic, sexy, and that accent will melt your panties right off (Now, I know you don't actually hear him speak since you're just reading the words, but I'm telling you the naughty British voice in my head was so SEXY). And when he throws in a little dirty talk, you're done for. Nicole is tough and guarded. She's got no time in her life for complications, which is what makes this gorgeous, unattainable guy so attractive. They're both after the same thing - one night of pleasure and nothing more - and I love that, just like in real life, sometimes you get so much more than you bargain for.
I've now read all three of Katie McCoy's books and have never been disappointed. They're all fun and sexy, with plenty of naughty and tender moments.
