HE'S HERE!!! HE'S HERE!!! Flint has finally arrived and he's just as yummy as we all could have hoped for!
This is my first time reading a book by Lila Monroe and I am SOOOO excited that I took a chance on an unknown author to me.
I absolutely adored EVERYTHING about this book! What a fantastic story! It was crazy hot with the chemistry and sexual tension between Flint and Laurel leaping off the screen. I was also very surprised at how funny this book was.
The story is told from Laurel's point of view, and let me tell you, this girl is amazing, crazy, and perfectly normal all rolled into one! I know that sounds confusing as all heck but it's hard to explain. She's so human. You know those crazy, off the wall comments about guys we all think in our heads but don't dare say out loud? That's how Laurel thinks, and to me, it makes her so relate-able. Majority of what she thinks are things that I could picture myself thinking in these same scenarios. She's sarcastic, and witty, and ballsy too, and I'm absolutely in love!
And Flint... Oh sweet, sweet Flint. He's got that "I'm sexy, but I really don't think I'm sexy" vibe going on, which of course makes him infinitely more sexy. He's sweet, charming, and a down-to-earth gentleman - when he needs to be. No worries though. He can turn all alpha manly sexy when the right situations present themselves (if you get my drift).
I don't say this about a lot of books I read, but for me this is definitely going in my "I hope they make this into a movie" category.
