Seriously, if you haven't jumped on board with this series yet, you really need to catch up. There is SO much going on in these books, it's almost like reading multiple series at once. You want rocker romance? You want mafia mischief? It's all in there. And all the story lines are AMAZING.
Quick note : this is a series I probably wouldn't recommend reading out of order, simply because there's a lot going on. Start from the beginning to get the full effect of the stories.
For those unfamiliar with the series, it's the story of rock bands Falling Down and Blush, two groups that are more like one big family than two separate bands.
This is Ben's story, but true to the author's form, there's plenty of additional storyline drama with the other characters as well. Picture a soap opera-ish format. A really hot soap opera where every story is connected to the others. With sexy rockers. And mafia. Did I mention that already? Cause it's totally hot.
Ben is brooding and sexy, with a possessive streak that screams alpha male - but he chooses to ignore it where Nicole is concerned. In his eyes, there's too many reasons why they shouldn't be together. Nicole doesn't see it that way, but she can only wait so long for Ben to figure things out. She's got her own issues to deal with.
The result is a story that will not only melt your heart at times, but will also have it beating out of your chest when you read the naughty bits. Rockers and mafia, remember? Yeah, still totally hot.
Rest assured, that's plenty of appearances from the whole gang - Jesse and Lucy, Cage and Sera, and our one and only Xander. This is definitely a must read series for me and I highly recommend you add it to your TBR. So, what are you waiting for? Rockers and mafia. Go. Now. :)
