Being the bad-boy bassist for the world's hottest band has earned Griffin Hancock some perks: a big house, a fast car, and most importantly his incredible wife, Anna. The one thing it hasn't brought him is the spotlight. Anna tells him to be patient, that his talent will win out. But Griffin is through waiting for permission to shine.
Without warning, Griffin makes a shocking decision and takes the gamble of a lifetime. Suddenly he's caught up in a new level of lights, cameras, and chaos. One that pushes his relationship with Anna to its limits. Anna has always found his unpredictable behavior sexy, but lately he's seen an ache in her eyes--and it has his soul in knots. Just as the recognition Griffin seeks is finally within reach, the thing he loves most in life could be slipping through his fingers.....

Wow. Just freaking wow.
This book was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. Literally everything we could have hoped for and more. It was so beautifully written. It's one of those stories that you never want to end but you can't possibly read it fast enough. And what a steamy read! Some parts are so hot they will force you to turn off your Kindle for a bit so it doesn't combust (use this time to cool down yourself so you don't combust either).
Griffin is one of a kind. His boisterous, in-your-face personality is just one of the things to love about him. Sure, he can be a cocky ass at times, but really who isn't every now
and then?
It's amazing to see Griffin grow and mature throughout the book. He goes through plenty of ups and downs and always addresses them in his true Griffin balls-to-the-wall fashion. This book will pull your emotions all over the place. One minute you'll be laughing at his crazy antics and the next you'll want to shed tears at his heartfelt pain. Underneath that cocky, confident exterior he's actually just as flawed as the rest of us. Shocker, right?
The story itself was nothing short of brilliant. The Thoughtless Series was one of the first ones that I read, and I immediately fell in love with all the characters then and I probably love them twice as much now. It was wonderful to catch up with not only Griffin and Anna, but with Kellan, Kiera, and the rest of the gang as well, plus some new family thrown in. I think I speak for plenty of fans when I say I'd love to see more books for this series. I don't think we could ever get enough of the D'Bags.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
