I cup her chin and turn her to face me slowly.
“You’re thinking too much. Don’t think.”
A blush creeps across her cheeks and she drops her eyes again. I brush her hair away from her face and let my hand rest on her neck as I slowly move in closer. So, a while back I read this awesome two-book series called Insatiable about the sexy Jax. In that book, he had a best friend, equally sexy Brando.
And now, Brando is finally getting his own book, and it's really good. Well, at least this first half is. True to the author's form, this will be a two part story with the second installment releasing about two weeks after the first. I have no doubt the second half will be just as good as the first.
Music is a cutthroat business, especially in L.A., and Brando had already been burned once. In an effort at some sort of redemption Brando takes on a new singer and must build her from the ground up.
Somewhere along the way though, the lines between business and pleasure blur. Now there's a lot more at stake.
If you haven't had the chance to read Insatiable or Bootycall yet, I highly recommend them. I think once you do, you'll fall in love with his characters and writing style.
There aren't many male authors out there that write these kinds of books, and I personally think he nails it (no pun intended).
