Allie bent to tuck her phone into the carry-on stowed beneath the seat in front of her.

A shiver of awareness swept over her skin and she stilled. Hudson. She felt his presence just as surely as if he’d touched her. But despite the brief moment she took to prepare herself, the sight of him still took her breath away. He was standing in the aisle, the muscles of his chest and arms flexing as he shrugged out of his wool coat and handed it to the flight attendant. His hair was damp, no doubt from the snow falling outside, and when he reached up to run his hand through the unruly mane, his sweater rode up, affording her a glimpse of his honed washboard abs and the trail of dark hair that disappeared beneath his belt.

He glanced down and caught her staring. “See something you like?”

She ignored his obvious innuendo, choosing instead to address the much bigger issue. “What are you doing here?”

“Going after what’s mine.”

Wow....

What an ending!

This is the long awaited conclusion to the Chasing Fire Trilogy and it does not disappoint.

This book has a bit of everything - love, lust, mystery, suspense, intrigue, and a whole lot of steamy. Simply amazing!

Just when I thought I figured out where this book was headed, it would twist into a different direction. One minute I'm smiling along with the characters, the next I'm frustrated and wanting to throw my Kindle because things aren't working out. We've spent plenty of time getting to know these people so it's easy to get wrapped up in the story and feel the same emotions along with them.

And let's talk about Hudson for a minute. I know in books 1 & 2 he did some pretty sexy stuff to make us swoon, but in book 3, you'll finally fall head over heels for him (of course provided you haven't already). He's definitely one of the better book boyfriends out there. How could you not love a self-made bad boy billionaire? And that's another thing about him. If his character wasn't written as a billionaire, it wouldn't matter. His story would would still be amazing!

And let's not forget Nick, Hudson's younger brother. Is it just me, or do we all want more of him and his jovial personality? I wouldn't mind an additional sorry about him in the near future, hint hint. : )

I could never have enough of the Chase brothers....

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
