Not many people know that I, Eevie Lawson, have a problem. An addiction to romance novels. I eat them for breakfast. I hide it the best I can, but I need them to breathe. It’s how I cope. I’ve had a swag of book boyfriends, but now that I’m free from the responsibility of caring for my three younger brothers, it’s time to find one in the flesh. In real life, no girl meets their hero on page one, or even at the end of chapter one. I should know. My journey is real. It’s not perfect, and it sure as hell isn’t easy—but the fight for something worthwhile never is. *Recommended for readers over 18 as contains adult themes.

For Genevieve, navigating life on her own is getting a bit difficult. Oh sure, she's got the job, a roommate, and plenty of friends, but her lack of a love life has her feeling less than stellar. No worries, she's got her romance novels and plenty of book boyfriends to occupy her time.

Then things get complicated as her love life takes a turn she didn't expect - an unexpected admirer, a smooth, experienced older guy, and the sexy bike racer that she can't stop thinking about.

I really enjoyed this book. It takes a while for Eevie to find her match, but I think it was important to see what she had to go through to find her real life book boyfriend. There's always something going on in her life, so the story is anything but boring. I think people will be able to relate to the struggles she's going through. Sometimes life gives you more than your fair share of crap to deal with.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
