Wow.....
This book was unbelievably fantastic! I was hooked from the beginning and literally couldn't put it down. Believe me when I say this author really knows how to tell a story.
Scott Walters lives and breathes hockey. Being a professional hockey player was all he ever wanted to be and it's all he's done his entire life. But a lifetime of hockey abuse has taken its toll on the Minnesota Glaciers' captain. Living with the knee injury for the last several years has been a hard fought battle for Scott; one that's he's been slowly losing.
When the reality sets in that he may not get a contact this year with his team, Scott realizes he's given everything up in his life to pursue his dream - no wife, no love, no family to call his own.
So when he meets Rachel Fielding at a wedding during the off-season, his attraction to her is overwhelming. Except she's only in town for another week and then she has to head back home.
But a series of events alter their course, and things become more complicated than both thought possible.
In case you missed it before, this book was AMAZING! It definitely does not disappoint. I love this series more with every book. I'm definitely hoping there will be more in this series after book three.
