GREY - REVIEW
It was everything we could have hoped for.......
This has been a really fun read for me. I love that we now get to see the story through Christian's eyes. It's fun to see his thought process and the reasons why he did some of the things that he did. AND, we also get to see just how much Ana's presence meant to him and how much she affected him. For a man so in control of his, well everything, it was nice to see that he's just as human as the rest of us, even when he felt he was incapable of being anything but a monster.
If possible, I think his perspective of the story makes us fall in love with him even more. We get to see his character grow and evolve more like we did Ana's. His is definitely a heartbreaking tale. It is also a very enlightening one as well. We get to see how he interacts with Mrs. Robinson and see how much the Leila situation plagued him.
It would be fantastic for us to get Christian's versions of Darker and Freed, but we shouldn't be too greedy. We were damned lucky to get this one.
That being said, I'd LOVE to continue reading his perspective. So Ms. James, if you're out there somehow reading this post, PLEASE continue to write. Millions of fans are waiting and hoping.... No pressure, though... ;)
