FATHER & SON - REVIEW

Number of Books in this series: 3

  • Prodigal Son

  • Father & Son

  • Wayward Son

Theme: M/F

I'm absolutely loving this story so far. It's wonderful to see how Paul is growing as a person and maturing.

The second book of this series picks up right where the first one finishes. After the birth of his son while still a child himself, Paul is now learning to adjust to being a father and juggling this new role in his life along with all the other roles he's been playing so far.

As the years seem to fly by, we see Paul's struggles as he tries to balance fatherhood, career, relationships, and love. We also get to see Gavin, his son, grow into a man much like his father - a brooding 16 year old boy much like his father in looks and temper.

But as Paul's life seems to be on the upswing and he's finally getting everything his heart has ever desired, tragedy strikes in Gavin's life and throws the sullen teenager into an existance full of hate and anger.

This book ends in a cliffhanger. I'm very anxious to continue this story. I love that we are now getting another Jensen to watch grow and to see just how Paul copes with it.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
